Happy St. Patrick's Day! Unfortunately, most of my Irish holiday will be spent either studying or practicing waxing in the sim clinic tonight. So, for lunch, a few friends and I went to a local Irish joint and had some green beer. Here is a quick pic (from someone's cell phone...hence the blurriness.)
Not much else is new. We had our first football game last night under the lights at the park down the street. Sadly, my team lost. However, we were up against a team of all boys from the D2 class. They were all either quite large or very fast. Let me tell you, it is not easy to block a dude that has 100 lbs. on you. Anyway, we weren't completely scoreless, and the touchdown we had did happen while I was playing on the offensive line. It was a good time, made even better by the chocolate chip cookies that our team captain baked for after the game.
Lastly, just as a bit of gloating. Here is the local forecast for the week. I love Arizona in March.
Glad to see you are wearing green! And you can enjoy your weather now, I will be the first to remind you of how nice it is here in July when you are too hot to even go outside! Love you lots!
