According to the anesthesia professor, I probably suffered an "epinephrine rush" last Thursday during the anesthesia lab. I am still not 100% convinced, however. I don't really recall my heart racing or pounding, which all hallmarks of epinephrine's effect. Also, my symptoms were suspiciously similar to the overdose symptoms that were listed in his powerpoint. He even admitted that there is a possibility that you can get these effects with just one cartridge if it ends up systemically. That is probably what happened. I think it was a freak accident. I just know I don't want it to happen again.
Yikes, your mom hopes it doesn't happen again also!
ReplyDeleteYes, you make me really wanna go get my teeth fixed! Yikes! I need to NOT read about your dental work, but more of the fun stuff, lol. My anxiety with dental work is high enough on it's own! Atleast I'm moving back home, will go back to old dentist (the one with the gas!). Love ya!
