So in case you are just tuning in...
Each day during the month of November, leading up to Thanksgiving, I will be writing about something I am thankful for.
And now back to our regularly scheduled programming.
Today I am thankful for living in on-campus housing with all of my wonderful neighbors. We definitely have a little family thing going on within the complex. There is always someone to carpool with when going out to different events. We celebrate holidays together, from Halloween pumpkin carving to Easter dinner in the clubhouse. And we are always exchanging food between apartments. That last one is my favorite. Tonight, I am so thankful for Monica and her amazing cooking skills. The girl can cook! (She is also currently teaching me some of her recipes.) Earlier this evening, I got a text from her offering home-made chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. It was so nice to come back from the gym and have a warm meal ready. My only regret is that I couldn't stay and chat like I usually do. (Dang final in the morning.) I am really going to miss her after dental school is over and we no longer live across the courtyard from each other.

I know how fantastic that can be when you get home after a long day. I thoroughly enjoy your sisters' culinary skills. You are lucky to have Monica for a friend.
