elmo?

Sorry my blog posts have been so short lately. Midterm season is almost over, at which point I can regain my sanity and the time necessary to update my blog. (You may think I'm kidding about the sanity, but I'm not. I swear I'm losing my marbles. Today in sim clinic, I cried in front of my professor over wax teeth. There's obviously more to the story than that...like how my professor ruined my project and how I was frustrated because it took me 3+ hours to attempt to fix it...but anyway...)

The reason I wanted to do a quick post, is to inform you that Elmo, from Sesame Street, is black. Rather, the man who voices (and puppeteers) Elmo is black. I just never imagined such a high squeaky voice coming from such a masculine dude with such a normal sounding voice when not acting. He was guest-starring on the Food Network show I watched during my lunch break. Apparently Elmo likes ribs and is darn good at grilling tasty looking ones. Still...high squeaky Elmo voice...kinda thought it came from tiny, bitty lady...
