HULA!

Tonight we had the end of the year luau...a tradition that was started last year by some of the D2s. We have some native Hawaiians in our class, so it was fairly authentic (as authentic as it can be in AZ I suppose). The guys did a big pig roast (which was DELICIOUS) and one of the girls had her dance troupe come and do a show with lots of hula dancing. Overall, it was quite a fun night, especially when they got some of the guys up in front to try and do the hula. Now it is back to studying for me...a great way to spend a Friday night. Here is a video of some of the hula dancing. The girl in the yellow skirt on the left is my classmate. If you watch all the way to the end, there are different dances.
