It has been a crazy few weeks and I apologize for not posting many updates. Long story short, I went to California for a wedding, crammed to finish my research project, helped get the new mentoring/tutoring program off the ground for the incoming dental students, and have been entertaining Lauren as she visits Arizona. Hopefully, in the next week or so, I will find time to write about the things I have been up to. I have some gorgeous photos from both California and hiking in Sedona. In the meantime, here are some interesting tidbits...
There is now a vending machine in the sim clinic. It dispenses plastic teeth. I think it is HILARIOUS! Where do you buy a vending machine that sells teeth?
Last night we found a scorpion in my apartment. It was NASTY. After scrambling around trying to figure out what to do, we called a friend that lives a few apartments over. He showed up with a golf club and took care of the problem. We did get a picture though. Care to find one of these in your house?
....note to self...Arizona has "BIG UGLY" house critters like Florida. I think I'll stay here where the freeze kills everything. It creeps me out just looking at it...:) Sure sounds ~fb~ like you are having a blast with sista with you...enjoy. I look forward to you next update :)
