ouchy rat update

I am pleased to report that our amputee is doing much better today.  She was quite active this morning, and I even saw her eating a bit.  We have been giving her pain-killers and she doesn't seem to be in much pain. She even let us handle her and apply new bandages to her tail this afternoon.  Hopefully, she will continue on this road to recovery.
