the end of DEX

After a lovely two years together, Dexter and I have decided to part ways.  The break-up was amicable.  Dexter had taught me all that I could learn from him, and it was time that I moved on.  I will always have a special place in my heart for good ol' Dex.
This would have looked so much cooler if I had Photoshop instead of Paint.
We did end our relationship on a high note.  I am pleased to announce that I passed every single portion (all 22 parts) of my Dex Competency.  I am one of about 50 people that did.  My partner Mindi did as well, so Team D'Lucy is ready to kick some serious clinic butt.  (Like our clinic couple nickname?  It is a combination of last names D'Elia and Lucy.  We are so clever.  There are actually some pretty funny clinic team names.  My friends with the last names Slater and Becker are Team Slacker and Allie and Kat are Team Allie Kat.)

It is a good thing that I passed though, because I did some premature celebrating this weekend.  My friend Krystin is getting married next month and her bachelorette party was last Saturday.  It was SUCH a fun time.  Being the classy ladies that we are, this party was in style.  We took a limo to Scottsdale and went to the W hotel where we even had bottle service.  The place is pretty swanky and so it was fun to roll in like a bunch of VIPs.

ridiculous photo, because no party night is complete without one!
