Today was an average Wednesday: crown prep and filling in the morning with a root canal in the afternoon. And in case you were wondering what dental students do when they have a few extra minutes between patients, I have an answer. They give themselves fluoride treatments.
Once I arrived home for the evening, I received an email from the housing manager letting me know that I had a package waiting to be picked up in the clubhouse. I was quite curious about it. I hadn't ordered anything online. My mother hadn't sent me any boxes. What could be waiting for me in the clubhouse?
After lazing on the couch for a few hours, I finally found the motivation to walk to the clubhouse to pick up my package. Surprise! It was a package of dental burs! I had completely forgotten that the sales rep at WRDC (Western Regional Dental Convention) offered to send them to me. Yay! Can't wait to prep some crowns and test these burs out! (Yes, I'm a nerd. Get over it.)
And then I made honey cinnamon cookies. The end.
Just what you've always wanted! New burs......Lol.
