it's a good kind of hurt?
So today was my first "Fitt Muscle" class and it totally kicked my butt. There were 7 women in the class (including myself). Half of us were bootcamp newcomers and the other half were women that had been doing it for awhile. We did all kinds of exercises involving weights (both free weights and barbells). And we did lunges. Lots and lots of lunges. After about 15 minutes (of the hour long class), my legs felt like jelly. I seriously have no idea how I was able to finish the class. Even now, my legs are wobbly and weak feeling. I will be SORE ALL OVER tomorrow, for sure. There will several points throughout the class in which I either wanted to cry or throw up. Luckily, I managed to do neither of those things. I think that will be my goal for the rest of the classes. No crying. No barfing. Hopefully I can manage that. Thank goodness tomorrow's class is Zumba. I don't think I could do 2 days in a row. And thank goodness Liz signed up for this too. I don't know if I could motivate myself to go through that again if I didn't have someone to share the pain with.
