March for Babies was this past weekend. In atypical Phoenix style, it was rainy and very very cold. I wore long underwear, a hoodie, and a fleece. We FROZE.

But it was for the babies. Thousands of people turned out to walk. Our Midwestern team earned a total of $7,341. Thanks to your contributions, I was able to raise $130. We had a special moment too, as the walkers from my 2nd year dental class made signs to honor Jet and Atlas, the twin sons that our classmate Jenneth lost just a few short weeks ago.

The walk itself was pretty fun. They completely closed off the streets in downtown Phoenix and we walked right through the few skyscrapers that the city actually has. It went by pretty quickly (only about an hour to walk the 3.5 miles). Here is a shot of us at the finish line.
Since it was so cold outside, we didn't stick around much to look at the different tents that were advertising/giving stuff away. Instead we went for a warm breakfast at a local cafe. Overall, the day was really enjoyable, and definitely something I would do again in the future.
And thanks again for all the donations!
