PSA

I know that everyone has been requesting a blog update recently.  I am updating the blog right now to let you know that it is highly unlikely that there will be an interesting blog post posted in the next few weeks.  I take the first part of my licensure exam on October 20, and I have a ridiculous amount of work to do before then.  As of right now, I am the most stressed out and anxious I have been in the 4 years of dental school.  I'm not sleeping, I'm not eating, I'm having nightmares, I'm getting headaches: it's awful stuff.  Currently, I'm very frustrated at the school and administration for all the nonsense they have been pulling.  I'm paying a LOT of money to go to school, and they are completely dropping the ball on a lot of really important things (like my licensure exam) while simultaneously, blatantly wasting my time (I'm looking at you Practice Management class...do I really need to write an employee manual right now?).  So, coming home to write about my life would probably result in blog posts filled with expletives and just make me wish that I had invested in some waterproof mascara.  (I cry when I'm angry or frustrated.  It's not a very helpful trait.)  The one upside is that most of my patient care in the clinic is going well.  Lately, I've received a lot of really nice complements from both patients and faculty alike.

So all I can say is thanks for the good family and friends out there that have listened to me cry, complain, and generally vent in the past week or so.  I appreciate it more than you know.

  1. Hi sweetie, I KNOW you can do this!! I'am praying for you daily. We all have to let off steam from time to time. It lets our brain air out......and the fact is, your brain is so smart and intelligent, when you let the air out its seems overwhelming. :) Love you kido....chill out and trust in yourself. :)
